Japanese Ginger and Lemon Tea Recipe
Ingredients:

1 fresh ginger root (about 2 inches / 5 cm)

2 organic lemons
-
2 teaspoons Japanese green tea (optional)

1–2 teaspoons honey (optional)

4 cups of water
Instructions:
1. Prepare the ginger:

Wash and peel the fresh ginger root.

Slice it thinly or grate it to increase surface area and release more flavor.
2. Prepare the lemons:

Wash the lemons thoroughly to remove any pesticide residue or wax.

Slice them thinly or squeeze them to obtain fresh juice.
3. Boil the water:

Place the ginger slices in a pot with 4 cups of water.

Bring to a boil, then reduce heat. Simmer for 10–15 minutes to allow the ginger to release its beneficial compounds.
4. Add lemon and green tea:

Add the lemon slices to the ginger water.

If desired, add 2 teaspoons of Japanese green tea for an extra antioxidant boost. Let steep for 2–3 minutes.

5. Strain and sweeten:

Strain the mixture to remove ginger and lemon slices.

If you prefer your tea sweetened, add honey to taste.
6. Enjoy your tea:
