Ingredients:
* 3 lbs beef short ribs
* * 1 cup your favorite barbecue sauce (check the label to ensure no alcohol)
* * 1 tbsp smoked paprika
* * 1 tsp garlic powder
* * 1 tsp onion powder
* * Salt and black pepper to taste
* * 1/2 cup beef broth (low sodium)
Instructions:
1. **Prep the Oven:** Preheat your oven to 300°F (150°C). This low temperature is our secret to tender, succulent meat.
2. 2. **Season:** In a small bowl, mix the paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Pat the beef ribs dry with a paper towel and rub the seasoning mixture evenly over all sides of the ribs.
3. 3. **Assemble:** Place the ribs in a deep baking dish. Pour the beef broth into the bottom of the dish—this keeps the meat juicy while it bakes.
4. 4. **Slow Bake:** Cover the dish tightly with aluminum foil to trap the moisture. Bake for 2 ½ to 3 hours, or until the meat is very tender and pulling away from the bone.
5. 5. **Glaze:*Remove the ribs from the oven and carefully drain off the excess liquid. Brush a generous layer of barbecue sauce over the top of each rib.
6. 6. **Broil (Optional):Turn your oven to "Broil" for 3–5 minutes to let that sauce get bubbly and caramelized. Keep a close eye on them so they don’t burn!
Serve these with a side of coleslaw or some creamy mashed potatoes for a meal that feels like a warm hug. Enjoy every bite, and let us know in the comments how yours turned out!
