• 1 sheet puff pastry, thawed and cut into 6 to 8 squares
• 1/2 cup cooked lobster meat, chopped into chunks
• 1/4 cup cream cheese, softened
• 1/4 cup shredded mozzarella
• 2 tbsp grated Parmesan cheese
• 1 tbsp mayonnaise
• 1 tsp Dijon mustard
• 1 garlic clove, minced
• Salt and freshly ground black pepper, to taste
• 1 tbsp chopped fresh chives or parsley, for garnish
• 1 egg, beaten, for egg wash
1. Line the Pastry Cups
Heat the oven to 400°F. Fit the puff pastry squares into a lightly greased muffin tin, allowing the corners to rise above the rims.
2. Mix the Lobster Filling
Stir the cream cheese, mayonnaise, Dijon mustard, garlic, mozzarella, and Parmesan until creamy. Fold in the lobster gently, then season with salt and black pepper.
3. Portion the Centers
Divide the lobster mixture among the pastry-lined cups, keeping the filling centered so the pastry can puff around it.
4. Bake to Golden
Brush the exposed pastry with beaten egg. Bake for 18 to 20 minutes, until the pastry is crisp and golden and the filling is hot.
5. Rest and Garnish
Let the cups stand briefly before removing them from the pan. Sprinkle with chives or parsley and serve warm.
